Time spent communicating in person: 4h in 1900, 1h in 2010

I continue the exploration of theĀ Unlocking value and productivity through social technologies report by the McKinsey Global Institute. This evolution of media consumption andĀ time spent communicating across the past 110 years is extremely valuable. It shows how much digital technologies are taking an important role in the mix in only 10 years (not a surprise) but mostly puts a number on the decline of face to face interactions.
